The Mini Heli-Safe is a scaled-down, compact version of the original Heli-Safe system, designed for reduced drag and a discreet presentation.
Its streamlined design reduces air resistance for extreme-range casting and makes it less likely to catch in weed or snags during the fight once the lead has been released.
In lead-release mode, the mechanism releases the lead when the hooklink swivel pulls against the top of the bead with sufficient pressure for the fitted spring. The spring fitted determines the pressure needed to trigger release.

- Supplied with the normal tensioning spring for lead release under pressure against the top of the bead
- Includes an additional red spring that requires significantly more pressure to trigger lead release, suited to clearer waters where lead release is only occasionally required
- Supplied with a collar that disables the drop-off function when lead retention is preferred
- Supplied with a size 11 half-barrel swivel
- Can be used naked or with leadcore
- Designed to withstand casting with leads from Korda’s range, including at extreme distances
- Note: The Mini Heli-Safe is not compatible with Dark Matter leaders or the Heli-Safe Tubing Kit.
