Designed for helicopter and Chod rigs directly on the mainline, this adjustable bead system allows the hooklink swivel to move along the line without the need for a separate leader.
The bead and sleeve feature interlocking rings that provide three release settings. Bead retention can be adjusted to suit the weight being used, casting distance and fishing conditions.

- Three bead-release settings – the top position offers the lowest release force, the middle position provides intermediate retention, and the position closest to the sleeve base offers the highest release force.
- Direct mainline installation – designed for naked helicopter and Chod rig setups.
- Long tapered sleeve base – allows the hooklink swivel to pass smoothly over the sleeve.
- Tapered sleeve top – helps guide the swivel back over the sleeve.
- High-grip rubber sleeves – made from a specially developed compound to provide secure positioning on the mainline.
- Tungsten-rubber beads – help the system sink slowly. Their soft construction and large bore allow them to pass over knots and potential obstructions.
- Translucent Dark Camo finish – helps conceal the components on the lakebed.
- Easy installation – sleeves are supplied on wires with an ergonomic holder for threading onto the mainline.
Bead Release and Installation
In the event of line breakage, the bead is designed to release from the sleeve, allowing the hooklink swivel to slide off the mainline and helping the fish shed the trailing line.
Using the supplied holder, slide the heli sleeve onto the mainline. Moisten the line above the sleeve and move it into position. Thread on the tungsten bead, moisten the sleeve and push the bead into the required release setting.
Next, thread an appropriate Evolve size 8 swivel onto the mainline. Complete the setup with a suitable weight attachment and buffer sleeve, then attach the chosen hooklink.
