Evolve Drop Off In-Line Inserts are replacement inserts designed for carp fishing In-Line lead setups where the lead can be released under sufficient pressure. They allow anglers to prepare additional In-Line leads or replace existing inserts without purchasing a complete system. Each pack contains six inserts.
Each insert features two swivel retention positions: Minus (−) and Plus (+). The Minus position provides lower retention resistance and is generally recommended for leads up to 3 oz (approximately 85 g). The Plus position provides firmer retention and is generally recommended for heavier leads. When sufficient pressure causes the swivel to disengage from the insert, the correctly assembled Drop Off system allows the lead to detach rather than remain attached in a free-running configuration.
The inserts feature two different groove sizes to accommodate suitable mainlines and leaders. Their length can be adjusted by trimming the insert to fit the In-Line lead. The insert should extend no more than 10 mm, or four grooves, above the lead. A shorter extension can encourage earlier lead release, depending on the complete rig configuration.
Designed for Evolve In-Line leads and other compatible In-Line models, these inserts are intended for use with Evolve In-Line Tail Rubbers, sold separately. Correct component fit and assembly are essential for the intended release function. The inserts feature Evolve's Dark Camo finish.
