Where does the name come from?
OMC doesn’t just create standard products — each one has a story, passion and purpose behind it. When OMC was founded, Ali Hamidi’s sister, affectionately known as Sunny, asked if he’d ever make a pair of scissors. Ali promised he would — but only if they could design a truly exceptional pair.
That promise was fulfilled by OMC Product Development Manager Mike Hutchinson, who spent nearly two years testing materials, blade angles and cutting surfaces. The result? Sunny’s Skizzas — a name that now carries pride, performance and precision.
These scissors are not just another accessory. They feature a dual-blade cutting edge:
A smooth edge for clean, accurate cuts on braid and monofilament
A serrated edge designed to grip and slice through tough coated hooklinks and shockleaders
Crafted with ultra-durable materials and reinforced blade technology, Sunny’s Skizzas are made to deliver exceptional performance session after session.
