The Mini Heli-Safe is a scaled-down, compact version of the original Heli-Safe system, retaining all of its pioneering features but optimized for minimal drag and discreet presentation.
It reduces air resistance, improves casting distance and is less likely to snag in weed or debris once the lead has been released.
It functions in the same revolutionary way: attach a lead and the mechanism releases it as soon as pressure is applied to the top of the bead.
Key improvements of Mini version:
More compact and streamlined for lower visibility and drag
Includes an additional red spring that requires more pressure to trigger the lead release — ideal for clearer waters or when you only want occasional drop-off
Comes with a collar that fully disables the drop-off function if desired
Supplied with a size 11 half-barrel swivel and can be used naked or with leadcore.
Strong enough to handle any of Korda’s lead range, even at long distance casts
Note: The Mini Heli-Safe is not compatible with Dark Matter leaders or Heli-Safe Tubing Kits.
