Evolve Weight Clip Run Ring System combines the hooking properties of a lead clip setup with the benefits of a free-running rig. After the fish is hooked, the swivel releases from the clip, allowing the system to become free-running without dropping the lead.
The clip features two swivel-release settings, marked + and −, allowing the release resistance to be adjusted according to the weight used and fishing conditions. The − setting is typically suitable for weights up to 3 oz (approximately 85 g), while the + setting is generally used for heavier weights. The settings can be adapted to the required presentation.
A rubber plug provides light tension during use and acts as a shock-absorbing bead once the system becomes free-running. A side hole allows temporary PVA restraint of the swivel when fishing with mesh PVA bags.
The system is suitable for use with mainlines, leaders and rig tubing.
Key Features:
- Converts from a lead clip arrangement to a free-running rig after hook-up
- Retains the lead instead of routinely dropping it
- Two adjustable swivel-release settings (+/−)
- Side hole for PVA string or tape
- Supplied with Weight Links and silicone sleeves
- Evolve Dark Camo finish
- Pack quantity: 6
