Designed for helicopter and Chod rigs, this kit combines an adjustable bead-release system with a protective buffer sleeve for use on leadcore and similar-diameter leaders.
The system allows anglers to adjust bead retention according to the weight being used and the fishing situation. Interlocking ring features on the bead and sleeve provide three release positions, with the release force determined by how far the bead is pushed onto the sleeve.

- Long tapered sleeve base – helps the hooklink swivel pass smoothly over the sleeve.

- Tungsten-rubber beads – help the system sink slowly. Their soft construction and large bore are designed to help them pass over knots and potential obstructions.
- Protective buffer sleeves – cover the weight link or swivel and help protect the leader connection.
- Adjustable buffer sleeve length – external cutting guides allow the sleeves to be shortened to suit the rig setup.
- Translucent Dark Camo finish – helps conceal the terminal tackle on the lakebed.
- Leader compatibility – designed for leadcore and similar-diameter leaders.
Bead Release and Installation
In the event of line breakage, the bead is designed to release from the sleeve, helping the hooklink swivel pass off the leader so the fish can shed the trailing line.
Using a gated needle, thread the buffer sleeve onto the leader and slide it towards the weight attachment. Add the hooklink swivel, followed by the leader heli sleeve and tungsten bead. Position the bead on the sleeve to select the required release setting.
Finally, slide the buffer sleeve over the weight link or swivel. If a shorter buffer sleeve is required, trim it using the external cutting guides before installation.
